The beginning, served with a side a bread and almond butter.

So tomorrow is officially day one of my classes here. The first week will mostly be introductions to tracks as well as curriculum. There are several different tracks as far as I know right now.  The tracks consist of music, outdoor adventure, arts, dance, and possibly others which I will find out in the morning. Each student here will pick one track to learn in for the next three months as part of their schooling. The tracks are meant to take a students passions and gifts and stretch them, as well as help focus them towards the mission field and how to use them to better serve and expand the invisible kingdom. More details on the tracks may come as i receive more info on them.

I am quite excited to begin the lecture phase, as it is pretty apparent that God moves here in drastically life changing ways.

Prayer requests,
First that God guides me in which track to choose. I will have three days to decide, and I pray that God will make it clear where he wants me, cause I personally don't know what to choose. Second, that the funds will be provided for the outreach phase of my trip. I still need about $3000 dollars by December to continue.  I have no doubt that this is where I am supposed to be, and that God will provide, however that looks.  Third, for my family...as they are heart heavy due to my departure.

This is my first ever blog post, so I don't know if I am doing it right, but you can plan on more updates as i receive them. Future updates such as, which track I choose and what that'll look like, how God is moving here and in my life, and outreach plans. But until then my friends, I love you and miss you dearly!

With much love and many blessings,
                                            your dearest,
                                                       Daniel Wayson

  1. Hey Daniel, your blog post worked perfectly. I'm going into a time of prayer now and you'll definitely be one of the things I come to my father with. You better update this blog more. :)

  3. I love the name of your blog =) It makes me feel a bit like you are also part of the Fifield family. (Anyone who can round up our pigs makes that cut!) I pray that you will see God meeting you at every turn. This section of your journey is a small and big part of who you are becoming, Daniel. I pray that this time will seal your passion for Him for a lifetime!
