Update? Sure...finally? Maybe...but the sending has been confirmed.

So, to you who is reading this at this moment,

I have news, of all kinds of flavors. God is working, and it is obvious. I am just now gathering my thoughts off the ground from getting my mind blown a bit ago, so bare with me. Everything is great and well and all I can say to begin with is God has an amazing future for me in mind and I cannot wait for it! As he does for anyone who willing follows him.

Now as for this said "update", here is some pretty great news. My outreach location has been designated to Southern Thailand. I will be heading there in early December to work with the locals, in-mates in the local prison, orphans, and sex-slave victims. God has granted me an enormous privilege by allowing me to go do this work in his name. Please continue to pray as I am still in great need of necessary finances to continue onto the outreach part of this DTS.

As for the teaching; this week our speaker is Matt Adkins. He is speaking on the Father Heart of God.  So far, its been amazing! On top of that, the track that I picked was Music (it was a toss up between dance or music). We haven't done anything to extensive yet, but so far it sounds like a promising program.

Now on to the good stuff, prayer. One thing I have been learning, is the power of prayer.  If only we could know how much our prayers moves God's heart! I have also learned to keep my prayers simple. So for your sake, I'll keep my pray requests simple as well. Obviously there is still a big financial need, but more important, that I continue to be molded and lead by our Father and that his guidance is what I remain to rely on.

Thank you again to everyone for your love and support! I have stories for you all when I return! Until then though, I will continue to keep you updated as much as possible!

Thank you again, I love and miss you all!

Decision day...

Just a quick update before I return to class. During the first week of DTS they teach us the cores behind everything thing there is to being a christian. After this first week, well renowned speakers and preachers start coming in to take us deeper.  So far this week we have been taught on the subjects of, teaching & worship, bible meditation, hearing God, intercession, what Christians believe, and relinquishing rights. Tomorrow we start our tracks, the track I picked is still unknown to everyone.
This week has been amazing so far! Everything from worship to the classes and the food have been incredible! It is very evident now that God has brought me here for a very specific reason, along with all my other fellow students. I can't wait to see what happens!

I have a few quick prayer requests as well. First and for most, today is one of the most exciting days of the DTS. Today we find out where in the world we will be sent for our outreach locations. My prayer request is that God clearly shows me where I am to go. Second, still, is for the Lord to provide the necessary finances, which I fully believe he will.

Well its just about time to find out where God will send me. I will let you all know once it is known to me.

Thank you all for you prayers and support. Through your support you are just as much a part of God's mission as myself.

Thank you all again, I love you and miss you dearly!

Yours truly,
Daniel Wayson

The beginning, served with a side a bread and almond butter.

So tomorrow is officially day one of my classes here. The first week will mostly be introductions to tracks as well as curriculum. There are several different tracks as far as I know right now.  The tracks consist of music, outdoor adventure, arts, dance, and possibly others which I will find out in the morning. Each student here will pick one track to learn in for the next three months as part of their schooling. The tracks are meant to take a students passions and gifts and stretch them, as well as help focus them towards the mission field and how to use them to better serve and expand the invisible kingdom. More details on the tracks may come as i receive more info on them.

I am quite excited to begin the lecture phase, as it is pretty apparent that God moves here in drastically life changing ways.

Prayer requests,
First that God guides me in which track to choose. I will have three days to decide, and I pray that God will make it clear where he wants me, cause I personally don't know what to choose. Second, that the funds will be provided for the outreach phase of my trip. I still need about $3000 dollars by December to continue.  I have no doubt that this is where I am supposed to be, and that God will provide, however that looks.  Third, for my family...as they are heart heavy due to my departure.

This is my first ever blog post, so I don't know if I am doing it right, but you can plan on more updates as i receive them. Future updates such as, which track I choose and what that'll look like, how God is moving here and in my life, and outreach plans. But until then my friends, I love you and miss you dearly!

With much love and many blessings,
                                            your dearest,
